    Hi,

Can anyone tell me what are the attributes of a 20 meter half wave folded dipole compared to a "standard" 20 meter half wave dipole?

Thank You in advance, John N3AOF

Standard flat topped dipole is 75 ohms impedeance

    Folded it's 300 ohms impedeance

That is the only significant difference.

NOTE: take the standard dipole and make it an inverted "V" and and the impedeance goes down... 50 ohms is right around 45 degrees
