  • Baofeng shoulder microphone

    I got the speaker microphone from Ebay. Others tell
    me the transmit audio is terrible. It was suggested
    the mic hole does not line up with the mic element.
    I found this true on my mic.

    Took it apart, and drilled a hole to allow some sound
    in. A couple fellows (few minutes ago) were kind enough
    to test equipment with me. They tell me the internal
    mic is much better than the shoulder mic. Actuall usage,
    tried both.

    They did suggest the similar Kenwood shoulder mic,
    which is about ten dollars on Ebay.

    Anyone here tried the Kenwood version?
