    Sorry, I wasn't clear. Which battery style
    is more likely to be still working at the
    end of the day? Alkalines are better than
    carbon zincs, but they don't like high draw
    like pushing a transmit button. I've heard
    that NiMH handle high draws like charging
    camera flash.
