    In the amateur radio community, the Baofeng radios are popular,
    due to low price. They work some what, if you know the quirks.
    This guy decided to test to see how rugged the radios are.
    Aparently, more rugged than expected.

    I dropped mine and it didn't crack to my surprise. They are pretty
    tough.

    Where as I have not tested mine to extremes.. I have programmed it. both
    from the front panel and from this computer... I keep reading how hard
    that is to do.. And I keep thinking "WHAT are they typing about".

    No harder than say my TS-2000.
