Since the biophone is a two way radio, ought
the hospital and paramedics use call letters
    every ten minutes?

When I was a police dispatcher.. We did not give our call evry xx
minutes (and it's 20, for that service not 10) .. Why? Because the
radios did it for us.. Automatic CWID,, Filters in the receivers were
tuned to "notch" the CW code at least on my end so I did not hear it,
but occasionally the troopers would hear it.

One city the CWIDer on their "intercity" transmitter glitched.. Took us
a few tries (Because the glitch was in the middle of one of hhe
characters) but we finally figured out which city and got 'em to fix it.
Took like 3 hams working together (myself included) to get it,, We
had to keep trying combinations till we got lucky.
