  • Kenwood TM-V71A "Tuning Control" Issue

    Hi,

    I have two Kenwood TM-V71A transceivers with the exact same
    "Tuning Control" (TC) issue.

    Turning the TC to go to a certain memory channel "misbehaves".
    I turn the TC knob and it may "skip" or stay on the same channel number, similar to noisy contacts. Sometimes, I have to turn the knob a few times before the channel changes or it skips past the channel number I want.

    I did not open this radio(s) to see TC mechanism.

    Did anyone have the SAME ISSUE and fixed this problem?
