    Hi,

Until now, I never used the SCAN feature in the TMV-71A.

Now I want to use "Program Scan", pg 46 so I can scan the
220.000 to 225.000 range of frequencies (RX only of course).

    FLAW:

    Step 5. "Rotate .... select a channel from L0 to L9".

There is NO "L0", etc. There is a flashing memory
    channel number, ex. "14".

Did anyone ever use this feature?

Thank You in advance, John N3AOF

    UPDATE:

The "flaw" was due to an OMISSION in the instructions.

I did NOT know that after you press "F", there was
more below channel number "0" when you rotate the
    tuning control.

If step 5 (pg 46) said, "Rotate the Tuning control BELOW CHANNEL 0 to select a channel from L0 to L9". I would NOT have had a problem.
