"Memtest86 Free Edition is a memory testing software for computers. It boots from a USB flash drive or DVD and tests the RAM in your computer for faults using a series of comprehensive algorithms and test patterns.
RAM can cause many problems and is frustrating and difficult to diagnose. MemTest86 can rule out faulty RAM and can run while you do other things.
You will need a blank CD\DVD or thumb drive, and a program to burn an ISO image for the ISO download."
