There are two capacitors (C2, C3: 0.1uF each) that may have been damaged slightly and I will replace. However, C2 is in the TONE circuit and C3
is in the Audio AMP circuit.
The problem sounds like a problem with NAND / NOR gates...I get a
constant tone when paddle jack is shorted (for dots or dashes). This
tone has msec. interruptions that can be adjusted...in other words, tiny interruptions in a constant tone, but no CODE...no dits, no dahs.
Anyone have experience with cw7C keyer by Ramsey?
