    Can I run packet on Linux without a tnc ??I would like to see what
    activity there is before I splash out much dosh...I have looked at
    several proprietry interfaces that do psk and a lot say they will also
    do other digi formats but don't know if they run under linux and I do
    not posses any windows software..

    Thanks a lot...Just installed the Thomas Sailer soundmodem package...All
    I need not is the tx/rx..Hope to buy a FT60 this weekend to try it out
    on....
