    Hello to everyone,

I would like to know if someone is able to tell me if it is possible to
make a packet node with two KENWOOD TMD 700 ?

We would like to make packet nodes in our region and I am looking for
some informations about the material that will be needed.

    All advices are welcome.

    Greatings.

    Philippe, F4AEF.

Sorry this is not timely..just joined group.

TMD700 would not work. Thw TNC's are not full TNC's.

There is firmware you can download for any TNC2 style TNCs. Do a google on
    node firmware tnc

Why not run them both in KISS mode? Then you can use BPQ, Xrouter, NOS
etc. on any old PC running DOS.

Use MFJ 1274's and I can burn TheNET roms for you ... All you will need is a radio the MFJ TNC and an antenna.. NO PC Needed.. This will give you one NETRON node per setup...
