• APRS with PDA GPS and Kenwood D7 / D700

    Has anyone successfully interfaced any PDA GPS
    to Kenwood D7 / D700 ?
    Probably the PDA GPS must have NMEA OUT/IN.

    As long as you can get the NMEA signal out via a serial line, it
    should be trivial. If you can't, then it becomes almost impossible

    I did... Palm pda (m130), RS Digitraveler GPS and Kenwood D7 and D700 and using PocketAPRS. And Yes, the Digitraveler is 3 wire serial.

    Did the same with HP Jornada 680e except used APRSce software.
