Sorry for the off-topic post; just trying to reach usenet users
interested in discussing bad governments. Seems to me shortwave was a
big part of beaming news and opinion over the borders of autocracies
back in the day. I don't think the Internet has the same potential,
given how easy it's tracked and monitored and blocked these days.

Anyway, looking for a Usenet newgroup discussing international politics and bad governance? Try the dictator.* hierarchy:

dictator.america covering the Americas, North and South
    dictator.mideast covering the Mideast
dictator.asia covering West, East, South, and Central Asia
dictator.europe covering the European continent and Russia
dictator.general covering the practice of tyranny and bad government.

See www.dictatorshandbook.net for more information. Here are some recent headlines from these groups. If your news provider doesn't carry them, please request them, or let us know at info@dictatorshandbook.net so we can request on your behalf.

These dictator hierarchy guys really want people to post in their
hierarchy, because apparently unlike almost every other topic ever it
deserves its own top-level hierarchy rather than some alt group
    somewhere.
