    Hello to all.
Where are all the packet stations I was used to hearing in the 80's seems
like the rtty has taken over.
I would like to hear from someone that still is running
packet, especially BBS sysops. Also are there any packet programs that would work with a pentium ?
at this time all I would need is a packet software to get on the air.
Any information on this subject is greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

Seems that you gooogled a lot...

As I think you are still running Windows these are Windows oriented
    programs.
search for: - paxon (packet/pactor terminal program)
    - wpp3.10 or 3.15 (packet terminal/APRS program)
    - flex32
    - openbcm
    - tnc2-multi tnc7-multi (multi-baudrate hardware)
    - uspacket.org (packet oriented homepage)

If it'is just to taste a little bit of packet, there is also winpack and agwpe, but these two issues are not really user/packet-net friendly.
Especially agwpe (kind of wannabe flexnet) which doesn't perform very
    well...
