  • pointers to fixing a Heathkit 5400

    All,

    I have a Heathkit 5400. The BFO offsets for CW seem to be
    wrong for both send and receive. It is though they are
    reversed. i.e. I have to tune it about 700 HZ low to hear
    CW. On transmit it sends about 700 HZ above the indicated
    reading.

    If anyone has pointers to Heathkit newsgroups or sites I
    would appreciate the links.
