    you trust programs from rabid nutjobs, unless you have no other options?

    Oh wow, thanks for that info. No I would rather not but, then again, I
    have found over the years that a lot of developers and IT folks are
    eccentric, to say the least... I would have to avoid just about all
    software if I took that into account. :D

    Still, sounds like my initial conclusion -- to uninstall it -- was a sound one. I may check out waterfox instead. Thanks!

    Yeah, all sorts of software, books, movies... one would have to give up
    to avoid all the nutjobs. So I don't really pay attention until they
    start making their nutjobbery the most important part of whatever they
    do, and trying to affect ME with it.
