Sheesh!
My error. It was published on the Rachel Maddow web site.

How about you admit to the lies and errors you've been caught in?
You've never "caught" him in any.
Ignore expenses ... DOGE was a very *good idea*
and should be REPEATED maybe every 10 years to
sweep out the bullshit.
First of all it's front loaded meaning the savings will take time
to kick in.
Secondly, if anything, DOGE exposed the slimy underbelly of the
left. Their slush funds, over duplicated programs and wasteful,
no accountability aid was uncovered.
USAID and DOE are just 2 examples.
Quite true.
However the 'right' may have similar slush funds - more
likely involving the military-industrial complex. At
least that money is more likely to 'stay at home'.
What was the insightful little movie line ... "You don't
think they spend $20,000 on a hammer, $10,000 on a toilet
seat, do you ?"
In any case, a close incarnation of DOGE really SHOULD
be mandated every ten years. Govt, its agencies, its
projects, will ALWAYS get larger and more expensive and
much more STUPID. So ... gotta bring in the Grim Reaper
every so often.
