Other Aussie retailers are in a giving mood that reflects the season, and that's good news for the last-minute Christmas shopper. If it is a Christmas prezzie that you're after, you'll need to check the delivery window we are cutting it real close here, so you could opt for the click-and-collect

to get yourself a wet-and-dry vacuum. It has lesser suction power than the V15s Detect, but we haven't been able to try it for ourselves yet. It also lasts no more than 40 minutes on a single charge. I'd say this would be
better suited to smaller homes. This offer is significantly cheaper than

Scoring AU$673 off Dyson's most powerful cordless vac is a great deal in my opinion, and you're getting it directly from the maker. This machine gets you up to 280 air watts of suction, which is plenty powerful even for the
hairiest of carpets, plus up to 70 minutes of runtime (if used on low power and non-motorised attachments). It's a little top heavy in my opinion, but it's an excellent cleaner if you need a new vacuum. View Deal

We're just days away from Christmas and while many of us are planning our summer holidays (if we aren't already well underway), others are probably looking forward to Australia's Boxing Day sales.

There's no need to wait any longer as some retailers have already started their sales officially, while others are offering deep discounts as 'early' teasers. The Good Guys and JB Hi-Fi are already in Boxing Day mode, and I had expected Amazon to start its sale today as well, but surprise, surprise, that's not happened yet. Despite that, I'm seeing some extraordinarily good discounts, many of which are better than what we saw during Black Friday.
