As an overview, the DJI Mini 4K gets you everything you need to get started. At 249g, it's a very compact drone, but it's still capable of 31 minutes of flight time at up to 10KM distance and excellent 4K footage, thanks in no small part to its Level 5 wind resistance and three-axis gimbal

If you're a beginner drone pilot, you may be wondering how the 2025 ban affects the DJI 4K Mini. Well, the ban is enforced on new drones imported
from overseas, so older stock like the 4K Mini is essentially unaffected.

Because of that, you can fly your drone in peace (and responsibly) for the time being. As of writing, there's nothing to suggest that the US government will enforce a full ban on drone flight, so we're still happy to recommend
